Moitié de Shazalakazoo, le producteur serbe Milan Duric évolue désormais au-delà des latitudes balkano-centrées sous le nom de « Neki ». Remixer prolifique, concepteur de kits de samples, il est l’auteur d’originaux moombahton, afrohouse, kuduro ou gqom, observateur attentif des tendances mondiales.

Son premier album « Long-Haul » illustre cette soif d’expérimentation et sort sur notre label au format numérique et vinyle 12″. Parcourant les continents à la recherche d’influences rythmiques et mélodiques, cet album illustre à merveille le terme « global beats », tant il permet au fil des pistes de tisser la trame d’une musique hybride se situant véritablement au-delà des folklores nationaux. Son titre, qui signifie « long-courrier » en français, est d’ailleurs un clin d’oeil à ce positionnement, plaçant de fait Neki parmi les producteurs incontournables du mouvement.
