Douze années d’étincelles scéniques pour quelque 600 concerts à travers l’Hexagone ont forgé chez ce quatuor Lavallois une âme d’explorateurs du jazz !

Sous leurs doigts chevronnés, la pompe sauvage et la contrebasse chaloupent au diapason, tandis que les volutes mélodiques d’une clarinette basse virtuose croisent les envolées d’un accordéon en roue libre. Explorant sans relâche les énergies acoustiques aux quatre points cardinaux, Les Fils Canouche accostent sur les terres cadencées d’un tango déchaîné, d’une valse à 5 temps ou d’une rumba gitane. En disciples fougueux d’un Django moderne ou d’un Piazzolla ressuscité, ils brouillent les frontières musicales et temporelles pour le pur plaisir du swing manouche.

Leur quatrième album intitulé « La fasciculation », enregistré à Paris et fruit d’un long travail de composition, emmène la formation vers les hautes sphères d’un jazz fertile et sans œillères : l’œuvre de quatre musiciens au faîte de leur art, mariant comme rarement l’émotion et l’énergie, l’élégance et la virtuosité. Comme un symbole de cette mue accomplie, le brillant guitariste des Doigts de l’homme, Olivier Kikteff, apporte sa patte de soliste virevoltant sur deux morceaux au swing irrésistible.

Composé avant tout pour la scène, ce nouvel essai discographique constitue le cœur d’un spectacle totalement repensé et retravaillé, des lumières à la scénographie.
